Waterloo, Ontario – February 12, 2010 – The Federation of Students announced today the successful candidates from this week’s hotly contested election to choose the leaders of the University of Waterloo’s undergraduate student government. Election Committee Decision #8-11The elections committee rendered several decisions that they chose to hold off on disclosing as they would not have effected the results and would have been announced after the results were released. Here are the announcements. Election Committee Decision 8: The allegation is as follows: I would like to allege that VP Internal candidate Jenna Goodhand violated Council Procedure 6. Specifically, that she campaigned past the end of the campaigning period, and that she encouraged the practice of voting past the campaign period. |
