Eligible students may vote via the following means:
- Online Voting
Online polling will take place from 10am February 9th to 10pm February 11th.
Eligible students will be able to vote online at vote.feds.ca/ballot from any computer on or off campus, using their Quest userid and password (please note: this link to the ballot will only become live at 10am on Tuesday, February 9th)
Note: If you think you are having troubles voting, revisit the vote.feds.ca/ballot and wait at least 10 seconds once you submit your vote. The webpage should automatically bring you to the next voting page.
Most students who think there is trouble with the online voting system simply did not wait the full 10 seconds after casting their ballot before the voting system auto-forwards to the next ballot. If you have made this error, try logging on again and this time wait a little longer after casting your ballot.
- Offline Voting
(WATCARD required as proof of identity)
If you are a registered full-time student, but have not been able to cast a vote through our online system then you may cast a vote by paper ballot at one of the following times:
- Tuesday February 9th: 10am - 4pm
- Wednesday February 10th: 9am - 4pm
- Thursday February 11th: 9am - 4pm
To vote by paper ballot please visit the Student Life Centre in the FEDs main office asking for Chris Neal (room SLC 1107), the Chief Electoral Officer.
For questions please contact the Election Committee, via Chris Neal, the Chief Electoral Officer at vpaf@feds.uwaterloo.ca, or on campus at ext 33880.
Offline voting will occur by paper ballot only once the Chief Electoral Officer or designate verifies a student was not included on the voters list for online polling. Students seeking to cast a paper ballot should look for a voters booth in the Great Hall of the Student Life Centre.
